REQUEST FOR BIDS
The Town of Colfax, Dunn County is requesting bids for a TRIP road project. The project is located on 950th Street from Cty Rd A East, approximately 1.16 miles to 945th St. Sealed bids may be submitted to the Town Clerk prior to 7:00 p.m. on May 13, 2020 or presented to the Town Board on May 13, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. at the town hall. Bids will be opened at this meeting. Bidders are welcome to attend the bid opening. Two (2) separate bids will be submitted for road base material and paving. 1) Road Base
The bidder will provide a price per ton based on 3500 ton of 1 ¼” gravel delivered and spread on site. The town reserves the right to adjust the quantity of material used. Materials will meet Wisconsin DOT specifications.
2) Resurfacing
Apply new hot mix pavement. Pavement will be 22’ wide and have a compacted thickness of 3”, two 1 ½” mats with two (2) pavers.
- Approximately 2,400 ton.
- Materials will meet Wisconsin DOT specifications.
- The bid will include the tons of material to be applied.
- Finish grading.
- Completion date of August 1
The bidder will provide a price per ton with estimated quantities for the project.
