Public Test of Election Equipment
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, pursuant to Section 5.84, Wisconsin Statues, the TOWN OF COLFAX will conduct the required public test of the electronic voting equipment to be used in the Tuesday, November 3, 2026 General Election.
The public test will be held as follows:
Date: Tuesday, OCTOBER 27, 2026
Time: 1:00 p.m.
Location: Colfax Town Hall

Absentee Ballots
You may register to vote and request an absentee ballots online at myvote.wi.gov
Return of Absentee Ballots
Absentee ballots can be returned to the Colfax Town Clerk as follows:
-Sending them through the US Mail to the Colfax Town Hall
-Depositing them in the Clerk/Treasurer Drop Slot at the Colfax Town Hall
-During designated In-Person Absentee Voting hours (see below)
-In-person on Election Day
Please note that all ballots must be returned to the Clerk by 8 p.m. on Election Day Tuesday, November 3, 2026 in order to be counted.
Please note that you may only return YOUR OWN Absentee Ballot when choosing any of the in-person return options. You will be asked to show a valid photo ID.

Polls are open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Polls are accessible to the handicap and elderly.
